Travis has studied a variety of alternative healing techniques, and is passionate about "Spirit/Spiritual Healing" in the style of the late medium and healer, Harry Edwards. This involves attuning to Spirit Guides to help impart a healing vibration to the client. In the course of a session, after attunement with a healing guide is obtained, Travis will often move into an trance-state to allow the healing guide greater influence of the session.
Travis has been a Reiki practitioner since 2006. Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle that the practitioner can channel beneficial energy to the client by means of touch, to help encourage the natural balancing process of the clients body to restore well-being.
Travis' sessions are not meant to replace medical treatment,
Nor is Travis a medical practitioner of any sort.
"Healing" may simply means improvement. There are no claims to be able to cure or "fix' anyone or anything.
Not every session is successful. People have to be ready and accepting of healing.
These treatments often work on the mental and emotional levels and may instill increased comfort, relaxation, and reduced stress levels.
Some people feel the energy, others feel calmed, relaxed, some energized. Others claim to feel different right away, some, over time, and some think it was just a "nice" or relaxing experience but thats about it- again, the person must be ready and able to receive.
Travis does work hands on- or above the body, depending on the comfort level of the client.
There is no physical manipulation to the body, the hands stay stationary at certain points of the body where imbalance is sensed.
